Positive: - A very friendly owner - Lovely breakfast - Big and clean rooms When we arrived, there was no water but the owner was prepared and provided enough water. Also a lot of the electricity is solar powered. The house has a lovely atmosphere and we felt good there. The breakfast was wonderful and dinner would've also been possible.

Negative: It's just a bit far away from the center, but you can take a TukTuk and the owner will of course help you. I wanted to walk and he showed us a shortcut trough the rice fields.

Positive: Geneviève is a gracious hostess, welcoming guests in her tastefully decorated house. We were very satisfied with our stay in Ambositra.

Negative: It is a bit tricky to find the place. Google maps gives a couple of routes which are just not passable. So just be aware of it.

Positive: The staff filled out bathrooms with buckets of water when the taps ran dry, and even provided hot water for evening and morning showers. They had solar lights and candles to help us manage during power cuts from 8pm to 4:30am. The rooms were huge, each with two separate bedrooms and a private bathroom and large windows. They cooked us a delicious breakfast. They were very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay there again! It was slightly difficult to find when we arrived late at night from Farafangana because it's just a little outside the city - we didn't want to say in downtown Ambositra so it was really perfect!

Negative: The city's powercuts and water cuts. Without power it's difficult to get the wifi working - this was not the fault of the guesthouse, but the city of Ambositra. They really went above and beyond to help make us comfortable.

Summary: Fantastic! I will stay there again because I commute between Tana and Farafangana.

Positive: Very nice and helpful staff, super big and comfortable room, beautiful house, not too far from the town if you have a car.

Negative: The bathroom was not very clean.
