Positive: The host met us at the property which was a nice personal touch. The property was very clean and the hosts seem to have anticipated every possible need! Beautiful comfortable furnishings and two lovely log burners to keep the place snug and warm. A lovely welcome basket was really appreciated. The village itself was lovely and quiet with a pub opposite the cottage (we didn’t go in but certainly didn’t hear anything during our stay). I’d highly recommend this lovely cottage with so much on the doorstep but a wonderfully quiet refuge. Probably the best place I’ve stayed.
