Positive: The kitchen was nice and new, the bathrooms have been renovated, the space was big enough for a family of 4. The beds are comfortable.

Negative: Access to a pool was listed as an amenity but it should say that there is no guarantee of use, especially on weekends. Renters get zero priority and have to call the Quechee Club same day to request a pool reservation. They were sold out with a long waiting list of members all of the days of our trip and wouldn’t even add my name to the waitlist. I stayed in this home because of the advertised access to the pool for my kids to play in and we were all incredibly disappointed to not be able to swim all holiday weekend. What a let down! If swimming is part of your vacation, stay elsewhere. The house is also missing some things that house rentals typically stock (like salt and pepper, cooking oil, coffee/filters, beach towels, and a couple games.) Even though the place has had some updates, I’d say some more are needed still. The front glass door slams back hard if you don’t make sure it closes gently, some doors won’t shut all the way, the shower door won’t fully close and water gets out and soaks the bathroom floor. There is also a concerning amount of give in the floor of the shower (it sinks when you step on it). There is a screw sticking up from the floor going into the main bedroom. Lastly there were a couple corners with spiders/webs.

Summary: Come prepared and don’t expect pool access.

Positive: It was a great location! It was 15 minutes away from my baking class!

Negative: The unit wasn't as clean as we expected it to be. The rugs the kitchen and bath were extremely dirty. All of the cushions on the chairs were dirty and stained. In the lower bathroom, the shower felt really hollow. We took showers really fast! I would suggest a better foundation under it. We were disappointed that both decks were so dirty we couldn't even sit in the chairs.(Leaves and dirt) We also had so many HUGE grass spiders. As soon as we entered a huge one was on the wall. My sons were terrified. The microwave was broken. One of the beds in the small room was a fold away bed. Overall my stay was just ok. We were disappointed. We spent $1000 for 2 days it was not worth it.

Summary: Unit wasn't clean but the location is great!
