Fully renovated masterpiece with the ocean and the passing world below, this home has amazing views from every room and the full-length spacious decks. The Views get even better from the adjacent three-story crofter with unobstructed views that are always tempting you to walk down the pathway to the beach below.
Fall in love the minute you walk into this open floor plan home, boasting a gourmet kitchen with center island, granite counters and stainless-steel appliances, and gas stove. The dining area flows into the - first of two-family rooms with gleaming wood floors, built-in bookcases, wet bar with ice maker, all open onto the large, covered ocean view porch and paver block deck for easy grilling and entertaining. Upstairs in the main cottage are two bedrooms.
The master suite, with king bed and a private bath, designer tile and double sinks, also offers work at home space overlooking the ocean and access to pen deck. The guest bedroom on the same floor in the main house has two queen beds with a bath with new ceramic tile tub/shower. - the views are captivating.
The adjacent 3-story tower/crofter was recently renovated and is truly unique.
The ground floor of the crofter is a grand living room, perfect for entertaining with wall-to-wall windows for panoramic views but also screams ''I want to sleep in here on the XL sectional sofa." The second floor boasts another guest suite with views, a queen bed and full bath. Upstairs is the Eagle's Nest -- that can also be whatever you want - a bedroom with a king bed and a full bath, an office or a hideaway with a wet bar, and has unobstructed views all the way to The Point.

Reviewer Comments: Bald Head Island was a great adventure starting with the Ferry, the Tram drop off at our rental, driving golf carts to explore the island and easy access to a fantastic beach. We had a fantastic time and many thanks to the property manager Tyler for making last minute adjustments to our rental. The only minor issue was the bikes provided at the rental were rusted out but we were able to easily rent bike near the ferry terminal.

Reviewer Comments: There were 4 adults and one child and our dogs staying at the house and everyone loved it. There is plenty of room, great views and the house is very well equipped. Our only complaint is NOT with the house. The new system for the ferry and tram system was barely functioning and absolutely nothing went according to plan. I hope that part gets fixed because getting on and off the island is as a serious nightmare and I am not sure that I would do it again unless they improve the entire process.

The location is great as it's easy access to East Beach, the market, and to the marina. While we go to East Beach more, it was nice to have such direct access to a beach for those times we didn't feel like packing up the golf cart.The home was very clean when we arrived and both carts were charged! The kitchen was well stocked and they hosts even provided a slow cooker upon request! I can't say enough about how quickly the hosts responded to any request or question we had. They were wonderful!I will definitely book Skye High again!

Summary: This is a fantastic property at a great location that is exactly as described. Short walk to the beach and could easily argue that the views are better than front row properties. Owner was very responsive, the kitchen has everything you need, nicely decorated and it was clean and ready upon arrival. Would enthusiastically recommend!

Summary: Skye High is well-appointed home with a layout that features the gorgeous views from its unique elevation atop the island dunes. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and even though it was just the two of us, we could see how it would be ideal for a group, especially with the generous crofter. We have already recommended it to friends! Check-in and Check-out were super easy, and the home was really, really clean upon arrival. We've stayed lots of places on BHI, and this one is a winner!
