Positive: Merindol is a beautiful historical building, perfectly restored and maintained. Vincent, the owner was on site to welcome us and make us comfortable. The location is excellent with beautiful views of the nearby mountain to the West and over the valley to the East. Very comfortable and clean room with spacious bathroom. Secure parking, close to the room was a bonus. We ere threated to a scrumptious breakfast the next morning. Allthough located in Riebeeck West, it is just a few minutes drive to Riebeeck kasteel. There are at least 2 nice restaurants within walking distance. We'll be back !

Positive: Our stay was truly an exceptional experience. The owner, Vincent, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The house retains much of its original character & charm but has all modern day amenities that one could want. Will definitely be going back in the future. Can highly recommend a stay there.
