Positive: Everything was great. The bed was super comfortable, and the pool was very refreshing on the hot summer's day. The cottage was very clean, the kitchen has everything you need and there's also a little braai. Thank you Karin for your great hospitality.

Positive: I loved the secludedness of the property. Karin was a great host. She gave us all the info we needed and was very helpful re where to eat, things to see, etc. She was the perfect balance of being helpful but also being left to our devices. There was a heat wave the weekend that we were there so the swimming pool was the perfect place to cool down. We explored the local area and had a lovely relaxing weekend. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

Positive: The cottage was open and spacious, with a lovely open-plan living area that flows into the kitchen and out onto the patio. The bathroom and shower were a good size, and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable. I was especially grateful for the fans and air conditioning, as it was quite hot during our stay. The lovely splash pool, which we had to ourselves, was surrounded by trees, making it feel like we were on our own little island. There is parking available on the premises for one vehicle. Additionally, there are plenty of attractions nearby, all just a short drive away.

Negative: The only downside was that the neighbors were busy with renovations during our stay. The drilling, especially early in the morning and throughout parts of the day, was a bit disruptive and not very pleasant.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Bamboo Cottage

Negative: No locks on the sliding door so some communication about this would have been great if this was a concern for traveller. This didn’t bother us.
