Positive: Nothing. It was a last minute change of venue for a meeting the next day. The restaurant staff we friendly and helpful.

Negative: The hotel is tatty and gloomy, decor outdated and the room depressing; all browns and gloomy low lighting. Restaurant souless and again dingy black and battleship greys. Awful. Staff were nice but just not a nice place to sit and eat. My husband had banged his shoulder on the loo roll holder as placed in an odd place. The loo in the room was so low as in an infant school. And the ‘receptionist’ people skills were lacking, should not be on reception. On arrival. ‘ car registration and signature please’ that was it. No Good evening, how are you, cold night isn’t it nothing!!

Positive: Fantastic facilities and absolutely lovely and clean , you would never think this is a dog friendly hotel ( no smells ) . The staff are very welcoming and friendly . We had a great stay over the Christmas period with our dog .

Negative: Nothing to dislike .

Positive: Very friendly welcoming receptionist and all the staff in restaurant at evening dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable and had everything expected. I had booked the accommodation with the evening meal as I wasn't familiar with surrounding area and the meal was good value for money and nicely presented. Although the hotel information advised there may be a parking charge it was free.

Summary: A well placed hotel for surrounding area, very comfortable, pleasant staff would stay there again.
