Positive: Nice walks possible up the woods behind the hut or along the shore. Nice view from the hut

Negative: Don't expect the breakfast as advertised on Melfort House website or booking.com- there's some continental breafast items, coffee and tea in the hut for self service. Don't bring big bags as they may not fit into the storage cupboard underneath the beds. Storage solutions need a lot of improvement given the tiny space. Space could be made cosier by better lighting, a table outside and cushions for the oudoor chairs. Shower didn't work well. No information booklet in the hut re local walks/ things to do
