Positive: For a basic place it was clean and there was free parking.

Negative: The location was hard to get away from and the restaurant that was advertised was just “closed” - not sure if this was for the holidays or permanently? The rooms were basic and our heating broke the first night we were there, which was hard to explain to the staff as they didn’t speak German or English very well. The place could just looks like it needs a little bit of TLC.

Positive: The food was terrific and the breakfast was excellent. The location is beautiful with a great view of the mountains and surrounded by nature, which made it perfect for us and our two dogs. It was also right on route for our road trip so it was super convenient to stay at.

Negative: The Junior Suite didn't have a fridge in it, so where we were travelling we weren't able to store lots of the lovely food we found.

Summary: A lovely stay in the Austrian mountains!
