Summary: Our first time in the Maldives and we fell in love with this island! It is a true paradise on earth. We looked at many different options and thought this was the best value for money: and we were right! The island has lovely beaches and although the place was obviously full, there was space everywhere (including at the pool and in the dining area). There are many different activities, but snorkeling is the best! The excursions are expensive, but well organized and worth the money. We stayed in an overwater villa, which was absolutely amazing. It was easy to swim and snorkel from there. Especially in the evenings we could watch the abundant marine life from the balcony. For adults there is a own pool and a buffet restaurant, where the food is of very high quality and tastes good. There are a lot of food options and in the evenings the food is prepared with different themes. Although the environment and the places are really wonderful, the spirit of the place is created by the wonderful people! They are genuine, friendly and hardworking - they will do everything they can to make sure you have a great time there!

Summary: Meeru was an amazing stay. The resort organized the transfer from the airport and everything was seamless. We stayed in an overwater villa and the views were stunning. The resort offers a complimentary snorkel tour to the house reef as well. Would go back for sure.

Summary: An amazing property on an even more amazing island. Great service from our personal assistant Aaish, with lots of personal touches. A beautiful place that we hope to return to for years to come. Thank you to all the staff on Meeru Island, especially Aaish and the chefs who checked in with us at every meal.

Summary: First off the food was really good, the idea of theme nights was excellent and it was amazing to see a wide selection of foods including vegetarian. My only grumble (and it is minor) is that none of their chocolate deserts tasted like chocolate (excluding the ice cream). We stayed in the Adults-only area unfortunately children were regularly there, not that they were noisy but its a consideration to think about should they continue to allow it and does become noisy. Also it was really weird that women were allowed to wear sleeveless tops but men weren't! We stayed in a room over the water which had a lovely view but the room itself was a bit tired and needed a refresh. Staff were pleasant and our stay was enjoyable, not perfect thus the 4 stars.
