Positive: Ruka on Dhiffushi actually lives up to the photos. It’s got a solid boutique feel — interesting but still cozy architecture, smart layout, warm ambient lighting at night that sits just right, and decor that feels intentionally picked rather than cheap or generic. Very tastefully done throughout. The staff made the trip. Super welcoming host and crew. They sorted our speedboat transfers from Malé without any hassle, helped us organize excursions, and were just genuinely sound people to chat with every day. Rooms are comfortable, shower pressure is good, and the AC blows ice cold — which you’ll appreciate after walking back from Bikini Beach (only about a 3–4 minute walk). Breakfast was fresh and solid, though a few more daily local Maldivian dishes would take it over the top. Perfect low-key spot if you want a stylish Dhiffushi stay without resort-level prices.

Positive: Room was fine airconditioning worked well. Sarah was great and almost always available for questions or in case of issues. Free water in room and can receive extra on request. Offered excursions were fairly priced (package deal of 3 excursions for only 65 usd pp. Building looks new and fairly well maintained.
Negative: Room was fairly basic, towels didn't smell very great (maybe due to humidity) no room cleaning or towel change in 4 nights only on request. breakfast is a bit repetitive but for the price I think it was a fair and good offering. Really liked the local mas huni provided during breakfast
