Positive: Good location for tours into the lower WestCoast areas, very basic accom and facilities for the price. No idea if the attached restaurant is part of the place, it's rather forgettable in any case. No staff on location.

Positive: The location was good for exploring the Styx Valley and Mt Field. The idea of the restaurant onsite sounded great, and menu looked good but unfortunately it was not open. The room was pleasant, clean and tidy. Cottages had a nice feel.

Negative: I was not aware that the restaurant was going to be closed on Tuesday night, and we didnt have any dinner options in town. So luckily we had leftover car snacks. The heater didnt work that well and there were no extra blankets available. One of the toilets was blocked and didnt flush properly.

Summary: It is clean and tidy but feels very isolated on a Tuesday when there are no staff or dinner options.

Positive: The location is great and the room and bathroom were clean. There is a restaurant on site that does dinner and drinks.

Negative: The kitchen facilities were very minimal annd only had a microwave to cook with. It would have been good if they also had a stove.
