A 5 minute walk to all the amenities of Matakana, including 4 restaurants, 3 bars, 3 cinema theatres,15 stylish shops, 2 art galleries and a great fish n chips shop.
Within 15 minutes of all the natural beauty of the area including Tawharanui's "Inland Island" sanctuary, Goat Island marine reserve, two super Golf courses and the boating/surfing/swimming delights of Omaha and other local beaches.
Perfect for a writing retreat, or a getaway treat for refugees from the city.
A second two bedroom cottage that sleeps six is also available at this location.

Summary: We just completed a return stay here, and it was great as always. It’s a short walk from the village, and is therefore away from weekend busy-ness. It’s well appointed for a weekend stay, with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. We love it here.

Summary: What a lovely little place. So warm and comfortable. My husband and I had a wonderful few days relaxing. It was so quiet and peaceful and only a few minutes walk to all that Matakana has to offer. The owners thought of everything to make our stay memorable. Thank you Neville and Margaret.
