Self contained open plan living, super comfortable bed with cool Mid Century pull out sofa bed for added guests. Indoor bathroom accessed by adjoining deck. (separate from main living space). Enjoy the Japanese bath and open shower open to the forest or wonder through the beautiful bush to the Cedar tub nestled beneath Majestic Giant Puriri.
This comfortable space adorned with mid century furniture including record player and homewares made on site by Workshop73. This is a perfect place for you to relax and unwind.
Snuggle up in bed and watch movies on your very own super wide projection screen with a choice of over 50 films.
Enjoy the fantastic local walks close by, visit a vineyard or two or a stroll along Pakiri beach or just relax by the outdoor fire. Extra friends are $75NZD each.
Park next to the workshop off Smith road and 150m stroll down to the bush hut. Free to wander about and explore the native forest or pop up to the main house for a chat? Should you need to jump on line swing by the showroom and jump onto mine.

Summary: Stunning location, nestled into the middle of the bush. Cozy bed and loved the outdoor shower and bath. Beautiful spot to slow down, listen to the birds and enjoy the beautiful trees. A very unique experience. Host went the extra mile in helping with the check in - thank you! Would love to do it again sometime.

Summary: Lovely secluded place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Be aware that there is a walk through bush to get to the hut and the toilet and bathroom is in a seperate building. The outdoor bath is fabulous!

Summary: The 200 mtr walk through the bush to accommodation was a bit of a surprise, but delightful, never seen so many nikau palms in my life.The bathroom and toilet was outside around the side of cottage, needed shoes as it rained overnight. Mosquitoes are a problem for me but host kindly supplied can of bug spray.Fabulous double yolk eggs and ciabatta bread also supplied. Internet almost non existent but Xmas Day and Boxing day was good then nothing after that but we were prepared. Made full use of outdoor bath but the hot tub was another 250 mtr walk so didn't bother with it.If you want solitude this is perfect.

Summary: A beautiful property in a stunning natural bush setting. We loved exploring the bush paths, listening to the babbling stream and admiring the swifts and the fantails. Fun little path through the bush to the beautiful hot tub, but soaking in the outdoor bath at night with the trees lit up around you was just special. We appreciated all the details in the cabin, including the timber coasters and candle holders, diverse music selection, and the movie projector was a fun touch too. Will definitely be back.
