Positive: Old house but authentic for a farm stay, well equipped kitchen, large house with 2 lounges, although we hardly used them, loved the dining room with the cosy fireplace.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Differently be back, perfect all round, including complementary wine and chocolates.

Positive: Picked up keys at cellar door & able to taste & buy a wine at same time! Great kitchen, open fire, comfy beds. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Firewood supplied. Nice walks on property.

Negative: There are 2 bathrooms but neither is an ensuite. Didn’t worry us, but might be an issue for some.

Positive: My family of 5 (all adults) had the whole house to ourselves, with a great kitchen for preparing our own meals. The cellar door was 30m away which made for a delightful afternoon of fine wine and muscat, overlooking the countryside. The mornings were spent bush walking in nearby Girraween National Park.

Positive: What warm, generous, hospitable hosts! The house was amazing. Well stocked with all amenities and everything you could need for a comfy, cosy home from home. The hosts were approachable, friendly and helpful. Fantastic location. Close proximity to Girraween National Park. I have travelled and stayed all over Australia and the hospitality at Golden Grove is second to none. Thank you. I could not recommend this place highly enough.

Positive: We loved our stay at the Marnita Farmhouse - the house was very comfortable for our group of four. The property was so quiet and peaceful and close to Girraween National Park where we spent time birding.
