Negative: terrible beds, lousy shower, very old room, no mosquito net, chaos on online tour bookings, wanted to charge double even so already paid online, food below average, check out not possible to pay by credit card suddenly machine did not work

Positive: One of those rare 10/10 hotels! We had an amazing time at this lodge and can only recommend it. Our bungalow was so beautiful, the restaurant has an amazing view and good food. So much food is homemade or homegrown. All the tours we did were great and super easy to organize. The amount of birds you can see from the restaurant is amazing. So much nature to see on their own paths, would definetely recommend a guided walk to make the most out of it. Very friendly staff. Great massage directly above the water. It all felt very luxurious and high end, but gave us lots of easy access to beautiful nature and wildlife.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: The treehouse was really beautiful. Seeing monkeys and birds out of your bedroom! Very nice and big park.

Negative: You have to buy all the food and drinks in the resort. However, prices are normal.

Summary: Was really a great experience and we will never forget.

Positive: It was a really nice surprise and experience for us, it’s amazingly beautiful area, with lots of things to do and amazing wildlife to see (animals, birds, plants…). The reception staff, and some of the restaurant staff (not all of them though ) were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was really nice however the restaurant could serve better quality dining.

Negative: The birdwatching tour was a real disappointment- very inexperienced guide, relaying all the time on an app, which we could ourselves too.

Positive: Holy moly what a place this is! We stayed in the treehouse with the jacuzzi and it was magical! The views from the treehouse are great and it's such an awesome feeling being amongst the birds. The beds are super comfy and fans work super well. The outside shower was amazing! The dinner was also good and reasonably priced, the breakfast was absolutely amazing! The food was good but the best thing was the amount of animals around this early. They put some fresh fruit by the lake and it's a bird watchers paradise! We could honestly stay there for hours just watching and snapping photos. Toucan's, kingfisher's, Egret's, Herron's, Parakeet's, Akari's and so so many more. The jacuzzi was a nice touch which we enjoyed at night time. The wilderness of this place is also super nice as it's across a river.

Negative: We did love this place so I'm still giving it a 9, but we did pay an incredible amount of money to stay in our treehouse so I'm going to be super picky here, as I expect a perfect stay for the price: Some bad things: - The hiking trail around the complex is not very well sign posted. We ran into a few lost hikers unable to find the trail. - We weren't informed we could leave our bags at our treehouse on check out and get an ATV to pick it up for us, so I carried it to the reception which was hard as the roads are gravel so unable to push along. - We were not given a flashlight which is essential as it's pitch black at night and we needed to walk 10 mins to dinner. Upon telling reception they seemed to insinuate I'd lost it which was very annoying. - Breakfast seemed to be starting the cleanup around 20 mins early which doesn't seem like much but it's only on for 1.5 hours so if you don't come early you may miss out on coffee and some food - We weren't told how to drain the jacuzzi so we thought it was broken. It isn't a simple plug, you need to walk down to the bottom of the treehouse and open another valve which is just not clear at all. - They added a tour onto my final bill just because I spoke with them about the possibility of doing it. In future only add tours if people have booked.

Positive: The tree House is spectacular. In the middle of the woods, nice counters on the way like a coral snake by night and a hawk in the morning feeding on a reptile. Bird watching tour in the morning was very good, it was a private tour as I was the only participant. The staff was very helpful, as we had to call the migration police because of our visa.

Negative: They are building more tree houses around, work in progress. Canoes are for free, but the options to with the canoe are very limited. In our booking a guided afternoon walk and planting of a tree were included, but they didn't know about that. Planting a tree is not actual any more, but they gave us the afternoon walk for free, after showing the booking.com confirmation.
