Positive: What a lovely location! Serene, lots of nature, and a great host. Paul took the time to point out wildlife on his property (and there was a lot!) and even loaned us binoculars to ensure that we could see as many things as possible during our stay here. A very enjoyable time!

Positive: Amazing view of nature from the terrace (we saw sloths, monkeys, birds.) Bedrooms are very spacious, beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Without any doubt, it was our best time in CR. At Finca La Paz we really felt in close contact with nature and with the local lifestyle. Paul, the host, was supporting us way before our arrival, helping us organizing authentic experiences (CR is now full of super turistic activities which really lack authenticity). We saw the first tucanoes of our trip, a lontra, some monkeys and other animals. We had the priviledge to visit the finca of neighboring farmers. Getting to know them and preparing a meal with the fresh products of their land was a precious experience that we'll never forget. We also joined a safari boat trough the river Puerto Viejo, were we spotted a lot of birds and iguanas, and also green lizards, fishes and monkeys. Absolutely recommended.
