Positive: Host and hostess were exceptional and having their family in the background was a pleasure. Host was especially tuned into guests specific needs and was more than gracious and generous . He did everything possible to meet your needs especially for your time in and around mealtime.

Negative: Shared bath was not convenient. Bed was too soft for me and there were few locations to place clothes - just a few hooks(4) on the wall - 10-12 would have been better. While the squeaky wood floors are quaint and certainly appropriate for the historic property, it was a bit annoying during the night when others were walking back and forth to their guest room or to the shared bathrooms.

Summary: The hosts made it a special place and their genuine desire to accommodate each guests needs was over

Positive: Maple Hill Farm is an absolute gem. Hidden near New London, Maple Hill Farm offers great food, incredibly comfortable rooms and easy access to Lake Sunapee and the surrounding region. I cannot recommend Maple Hill Farm highly enough. Visit for the trails, stay for Will’s hospitality and the blueberry pancakes!

Positive: Very relaxing place with plenty ofroom to sit and read a book or do some writing. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is well located just outside New London and has easy access to hiking trails and local attractions. I’m not typically a breakfast person,but the made from scratch breakfasts were fabulous.

Summary: A very cozy and relaxing place, great for couples or individuals.
