Positive: Very comfortable. Kate goes above and beyond . Great breakfasts and choice of a meal-in in the evening if you request at breakfast time. Lots of helpful local knowledge to make your stay work.

Positive: Kate and the team were fantastic. Incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean with super comfy beds. Great breakfast each morning too. Will 100% be revisiting.

Positive: Wonderful accommodation, our room was clean and nicely presented. The owner Kate was lovely and very attentive, she is the one who makes this place so charming. Breakfasts were nice and very filling. We would definitely recommend staying at Maple Bank Country house.

Negative: The heated towel rail in our bathroom didn't work meaning we were unable to get our wet clothes dry (after hiking in the rain). Kate did mention that she was trying to have it repaired, so hopefully she can. This small issue did impact our stay as we seemed to be surrounded by wet clothes throughout our time here.

Summary: We would stay here again.

Positive: Our stay at Maple Bank was so lovely! Our host Kate went above and beyond to make sure that we were catered for throughout our stay! There were various teas and cake available in the dining room which was a lovely touch (thoroughly enjoyed the cake). The room was very clean, with toiletries provided. The breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve ever had included. We absolutely loved our stay & will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you Kate!
