Summary: Highly recommended! Very warm, friendly welcome from Phil. Very well organised and has lots of daily advice. A nice comfortable room with everything you need. An excellent breakfast too. A very enjoyable short stay, we would definitely return.

Summary: The breakfast came hot, well cooked and plentiful. The view over Skiddaw was beautiful. The B&B was in an excellent location, with easy access to all the Lakes and cumbrian coast. Easy access to and from the main routes.

Summary: When we stayed at Hermiston, we were made to feel very welcome. The room was immaculate and there was also a very comfortable and cosy lounge for guests to sit in as well as a garden if desired. Breakfast was cooked to order and quality and presentation was excellent.

Summary: Phil and Helen were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble, very welcoming, helpful and the breakfasts were great. Rooms are comfortable. Great location with walks, pubs and restaurants nearby so no need for the car. Would stay again.
