Positive: lovely house lots space for all of us and dog, close to location we been working and the view getting up morning was just what you want to wake up to see the lake and birds, comfortable beds, lovely to have the fire space can have on evening to chill to and beautiful big kitchen as specially Aga oven to cook in was a joy to make food. Very quiet and clean. We arrived later but the check in was easy with keys as host been friendly and quick response. We wanted to extend the stay and was very smooth process and checking out was very smooth. Like that they had recycling system and also the changing the beds offered to clean weekly base as we stayed long. lovely warm place and plenty space to have time from others as have two separate living rooms with TV and sofas. plenty space in cupboard for cloths for long stay and bathrooms. easy access from the main road and even we had snow and rain we had no problem to getting out. Lots information what is local about from host book and board games to choose from. we will definitely book it again.

Negative: might be good to have a food recycling bin, the pool to be open on site in winter option but understand it is part of the caravan site as well. have the locker outside for a key would be helpful as only one key for the house.

Positive: The house has all the facilities you could want and more! The fishing was great, only comment I would make is the steps leading down to the fishing deck are well worn and could do with a bit of maintenance and maybe a handrail as I have restricted mobility but once down on the decking I was in heaven. The swimming pool was great for the family real enjoyed it. On site cafe is brilliant and staff more than helpful will definitely be coming back thank you all at the site!

Negative: lots of fly’s and wasps but I think that’s a seasonal thing.

Summary: This beautifully spacious home allowed us to make the most amazing family memories for our Mums 60th birthday

Positive: Location. Staff, facilities. Nicely decorated, lovely fluffy towels everything we needed was there. Conservatory was excellent, we sat in there 95% time, watching duck, geese and gosling

Negative: Few plates cracked and a broken chair in front room, which clearly was broken previously, and someone tried to cover it up by leaving it for someone to sit in, fortunately no one was hurt.
