This beautiful, open air, Bali designed home has high ceilings with fans through-out, covered deck, air conditioning in bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked, and gas grill on screened deck.
The clubhouse has a beach-side community pool, bar & grill and new dive shop! The palapa dock is the best spot to dive into the warm sea and swim to the reefs for an awesome snorkel in pristine coral and abundant marine life.

Summary: Wonderful home with everything you need for your stay. House is set back in the gardens not on the beach but has its own pool and you have access to the community pool and a great restaurant a short walk away (this is a private enclave of homes centered around a restaurant/pool). Stephanie, the property manager was v helpful with any requests or questions. We liked the quiet location. Friends stayed in another home on other side of the restaurant and the homes there were closer together and they told us they could hear unwanted noise at their place. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen well stocked if you want to cook. No problems with any house functions but frankly we never even used the AC, just room fans; the house is well designed to keep you cool. Glad there was a large screened in porch - there were quite a few mosquitos at dawn/dusk, bring DEET spray. Also recommend renting a car to see all the island has to offer. Driving is easy here and roads good except for the unpaved roads on the East End but we braved them nonetheless (worth going to La Sirena for the day). Definitely would rent this property again.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Tropical Garden Villa, enjoying the sights and sounds of tropical paradise and the many activities Roatan has to offer. Staying at The Tropical Garden Villa is experiencing your very own, personal, unspoiled paradise. The Villa is surrounded by tropical fruit trees and flowers, conveniently located just a short walk from the beach, pool, and a lovely waterfront restaurant. The house was recently redone with modern appliances and tropical inspired furnishings, which complete the feel of being in your own tropical paradise. Warm colors and tropical accents, including locally made art and beautiful coral reef inspired furniture, enhance the mood. The house is immaculately maintained. A wonderful tropical breeze comes through the house. There are air conditioned bedrooms, however we preferred to sleep with the slatted screened windows open and the ceiling fans on. The breeze was relaxing and cool, and the view was amazing. In the yard we would spot hummingbirds, butterflies, and many other species of birds in the tropical fruit trees growing in the yard. There is a beautiful dining area, but we enjoyed our meals on the fully screened porch with views of the tropical garden. Separate wings of the house allow for privacy for families or couples traveling together. The master suite includes its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. Open the slatted windows to enjoy a warm shower with a tropical breeze. Heaven! The master bedroom looks out over the yard and has a sliding door onto the wrap around porch. The second wing includes another full bathroom with shower, and two bedrooms. The kitchen is perfect for making meals in the house, and is fully stocked with all of the tools we could think of to make our meals. The blender is perfect for making piña coladas to enjoy on the porch, and while you sip them you can throw dinner on the grill. The house includes a full house water purification system, washer and dryer, kitchen appliances, and many entertainment options including large screen television, DVD player, Wii, and stereo. Wi-Fi is available, and we found it very helpful for planning activities on the island. Heather and Clay were on site to manage the property. They helped us to feel right at home, were easily reached for questions, and were a great source of information about the island. We have so many wonderful memories of our time at the Tropical Garden Villa and can’t wait to return.
