Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I stayed in beach front rooms. I I had the bestime with staff over there. With Chef Paul, Lora, Una. Fisherman Joe. The place is close to a village of 200 people. Got to spend some time with local. Go out for fishing with Fisherman Joe is the best in the village and hardworking. Backpackers lodge 50 meters down is amazing lovely people come there they have fire show and Kava Nights. Lovely people. Very honest and reliable. Beach is good not much activity. For a dip would suggest you to go to sunset point. Fair bit of walk but pack your things and go over there. I have spent 4-6 hours on that beach come back after sunset.

Negative: The place needs money to do up the place. Worst part of all no lights from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Because they have only one generator.

Positive: The staff are amazing. If you want to live in a private bungalow close to the ocean with Village People, this is an amazing experience.

Negative: The power comes on (Air condition) etc only 6 hours at a time and then off for 6 hours .There are absolutely no stores on this little island. However, you can buy water at the "reception". I saw they had a couple cans of tunas some oil, a couple onions, near the end of my stay I saw a host that had a window that sold some food, candies and odds and ends etc. .. Meals: they serve three meals a day with limited choice. However, the people made it amazing!!! The rooms were very clean. Fridge, coffee. Warm water,. However, one towel for us, and no hand soap, shampoo or conditioner. I had to ask and they scrounged up a shampoo for us. This is beachfront and you will not be able to use the fancy resort next door whatsoever. The security is strict there. Get to know the locals and you will have an amazing time! Despite these inconveniences, I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat!
