Positive: The location was excellent for my needs, Berkeley is beautiful and the accommodation is in the heart of the town. The staff were lovely, I arrived late Sunday afternoon and staff made sure I had something to eat and drink even though the kitchen was closed. Breakfast was delicious as was my evening meal. The rooms was spacious and the bed incredibly comfortable.

Negative: The shower was not powerful and the temperature was temperamental. On my first night I think I was the only guest so it was very quiet and peaceful, however, on my second night there were other people staying and the walls were very thin. It was very noisy having someone in the next room to you (they did not disturb my sleep though as the beds were perfect!!).
