Positive: Tastefully decorated ...warm...fairly comfortable...

Negative: The Barn was aesthetically pleasing but lacked basic amenities ie Toilet roll....teabags...coffee sachets.or pods...not all our bed pillows had pillow cases....no welcome pack...there were no board games or visitors pamphlets...no hair dryer and the telly in our room didnt work and had no remote anyway.....all basic things we are used to having while booking properties on this and different sites... Building work was not nice to look at as we entered the Leisure park .... We ate at the Parks pub on one of the nights...it was terrible...only one meal.was passable .... In.my whole 40 odd years of visiting the Dales area myself and my family have never once given a negative review this is a first.. Oh ..and at time of booking we were not informed the pool closed in September...this being one of the reasons we chose this property...seems that once we had paid we got the email to tell us this ...won't be returning to this property...

Positive: We’ve thought the property nice and chic/modern, clean and comfortable beds We’ve stayed only one night so couldn’t say much about it

Negative: We very much were surprised and annoyed that to have a WiFi connection we needed to pay extra. As the daily stay was £250 we felt its very mean not to provide a free internet connection especially that the signals in the area are very low and poor.

Summary: Comfortable but the need to pay extra for internet while I have paid £500 for 2 nights is surprising

Positive: Location good, staff friendly and helpful, Apartments a good size. Heating and fire good, lots of storage space, open plan room, kitchen and dining room.

Negative: Apartment Looking dated - laminate coming off cupboards in kitchen and bathroom. Settee and beds too hard so didn't get much sleep. One wardrobe didn't close properly, handle missing from drawer. Dust and dead flies on window sills and blinds. Windows frames and bathroom ceiling has mould in places. Bathrooms are strange layout inside awkward to stand close to sink in en-suite and sharp corners on tile trim. Don't need slippers in plastic packaging left for usage and there could be recycling facilities on-site. Don't need toiletries in plastic bottles - re-fill glass bottles with locally sourced toiletries would be preferable. A few stains on bedding that hasn't come out in wash and not noticed.

Summary: Good location, friendly staff, spacious apartments but need attention.
