Positive: An impressive, well restored and comfortable residence that is very handy for everywhere in St. Malo. The owners were delightful and so welcoming. Thank you Frederique and Phillipe. We enjoyed the best breakfasts we’ve ever had anywhere! We didn’t need to eat again until our evening meal. Fabulous restaurant ‘Tandem’, bakery and market are all nearby as are the start of beautiful coastal walks.

Negative: Everything was perfect.

Summary: An impressive house that makes you feel proud to reside in and return to. We highly recommend Maison Lacase.

Positive: The home is a lovely historic home lovingly restored by the hosts. The room and bathroom were exceptional both in size and comfort. The location in the Servan neighborhood was perfect. In a village-like neighborhood and a short walk to the walls of Saint Malo. Frédérique was attentive and helpful providing solid dining recommendations before our arrival. The included breakfast was wonderful, including home made crepes and other dishes and locally sourced cheeses, etc., which Frédérique detailed before the meal. A special experience in a special place.

Positive: We loved the history, the hospitality, and the location. Could not have been better. Our hosts provided an incredible petit-déjuener and even offered some vegan options. Local products and locally sourced foods made the experience all the better. We will be visiting here again. Soda the dog is a charming host as well.

Positive: This hotel is in a perfect location close to the ferry port and close to the shops and restaurants in Saint Sevain yet only a short walk to St Malo walled city. The building has been renovated to a very high standard retaining lots of the original features. Also has a lovey garden with swimming pool. Frederique and Philippe are excellent hosts with their wealth of local knowledge and provided us with an amazing breakfast consisting of fresh local produce from the area. After many visits to St Malo this has been my favourite hotel and will be booking again for sure.

Positive: The breakfast was very nice but even more than expected as Frederique made up a take-away for me as I had to catch the early morning ferry to Guernsey. She even walked to the Boulangerie with me on the way to the ferry to get fresh croissant.

Negative: I liked everything. The hosts are a lovely couple and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and the property is exceptional, clean, fresh and just lovely.

Summary: Fantastic and too brief!
