Positive: Perfect stay with the best hosts. Went on a tour of their property on arrival afternoon and saw rice fields, Cinnamon, peppers, peacocks, squirrel, tamarind, etc and visited their tree house with a coconut thatched roof. Evening meal with choice of Sri Lankan dishes, we had vegetarian hoppers and ice cream. Room had wonderful balcony overlooking rice fields. Next day lovely breakfast with toast, butter, jam, fried eggs, tomato, cucumber, tiny bananas and a fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and a nutritional seed mix. We went by tuk tuk to see the bird park and meet the man who made it and he spent 2 hours showing us the trees and birds for donations only, an excellent project. We went on Yala safari organised by hotel for 17,000 lkr for 2 of us for private jeep. The guide was amazing and we got to see a leopard drinking water, guide sent us his photos, he was an amazing photographer, buffalo, mongoose, deer, Peacock, crocodile, etc. Went in entrance 5 in afternoon and not busy at all. Then evening meal and breakfast. Everything was incredibly clean, owners and staff were lovely and always very keen to ensure everything was perfect which it was. Strongly recommend. Excellent value for money.

Positive: The property is a beautiful classic building that has been well maintained. The owners are a lovely couple who take great care of the guests. The food is exceptional and we even got invited to join the host family for New Years celebration and food, which was very touching. The hosts organised our Yala Safari and it was very straightforward.

Positive: Staff were amazing and friendly and treated us like family. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were exceptional… great flavours and price you pay to stay at the residence to get what you do is very generous.
Negative: Stay was amazing, very petty small things like WiFi was intermittent, beds and bedding were basic but comfortable

Positive: We spent 3 wonderful nights at this place. Beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. It was a fun base to explore the surrounding countryside. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The food is delicious!! Our 4 year old son was treated like family.

Positive: Beautiful resort, luxury spotles room, very nice and friendly staff members. We get a spice garden tour for free, where we learn a lot of new. Perfect safari arangment for good price and great packed breakfast. We were sorry to stay just one night here.

Positive: Conveniently close to block 1 in yala national Park, the most popular block. Very quiet scenic location. A generous dinner was provided with exceptional service by staff who were all friendly. Very spacious room with air-conditioning. The owner took me for a little tour around the gardens to look at the cinnamon plantations etc which was a lovely addition. Very accommodating during my stay.
Negative: Bathroom outdated, bed was a bit firm.
