Positive: Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Room was excellent, clean, very spacious, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Hotel contacted us prior to our stay offering any support or services, we requested a Yangshou tour which was very good too. Great location, as located within walking distance from Guilin centre and also Seven Star Park.

Negative: Maiin entrance is not obvious when approaching from Guilin centre or main Jiefang bridge, upon first arrival. Perhaps a large sign on side facing bridge directing the main entrance.

Negative: Ver few options for breakfast and almost all eastern oriented. Do not book an excursion at the hotel counter, worse price and service that the tourist office across the street.

Positive: The overall experience was very ok. We asked Vito (the hotel manager) to organize for us the river Li Cruise and the Rice Terrace excursion, and the assistance was superb. Additionally, the guide provided a customised approach.

Negative: People at the reception did not speak any english (we could use only the app translator), and the breakfast did not have any Western food (apart from coffee).

Negative: In the hotel, Ashtrays smell amazingly like cigarettes because they are allowed to smoke everywhere. Then until late hours there is a big noise, there is no silence until 24 children ran in the corridor or there was music from 8 different rooms between Loudly. Breakfasts were very poor, with the family not even coming down on them after the following days was a waste of time. The only plus mega-helpful manager who wrote before checking in and whatever I needed to do, he covered everything in a flash

Positive: This hotel is conveniently situated in the city center, adjacent to Seven Star Park. Entrance to the park is free before 7:00 AM, making it a popular spot for locals to enjoy morning strolls. It's exceptionally accessible, located less than 100 meters from the Li River and Liberation Bridge. The surrounding area features renowned local dining options, and I particularly adore the Guilin rice noodles near the hotel. The hotel is newly renovated, very affordable, and I highly recommend it! PS：There is also a small market next to the hotel, with many interesting handicrafts, super cheap~
