Summary: Ma Johnson's is the classic vintage small town hotel. The decor reflected the town's history and each room was decorated accordingly. They were upfront about things like a shared bathroom and no outlets in the rooms. It was a little cold upstairs since that floor does not have heaters in the rooms but they gave us extra blankets. For us, these things were issues and it was fun to socialize w/the other guests while charging up our electronics. The WiFi worked great as did the transportation. Everyone was helpful and it was easy to get around town. The breakfast was outstanding!

Summary: The hotel staff were great and helpful. The hotel is a historic hotel so the room just has a bed and sink. Bathrooms are shared and down the hall. Hotel is in the middle of McCarthy.

Summary: We loved staying at Ma’s. It was great to have all the dogs in and out. So fun. McCarthy is a unique community in an awesome area. We had such a lovely time. Thank you 😊

Summary: We had an issue where it could have been, “ not such a pleasant outcome.” Ragen, front desk at Ma Johnson’s handled the issue with ease and helped us out so much. She was great the way she handled our problem. This was my 4th time to McCarthy and I will definitely keep coming back. The owner, Neil was working the breakfast time and I casually asked a question of “Did he remember the band with a long name from two years ago.” He couldn’t off the top of his head and I said, don’t worry about it. He went and found out and then had a great conversation with us. He didn’t have to do that but he did. This is McCarthy and why I keep coming back. A great place with great people.
