2 Bedroom House in Wadebridge, Nr Wadebridge

The Linhay is one of our three barns nestling around a courtyard situated on our family run farm. You will enjoy uninterrupted Cornish countryside views and our cows are often grazing in the fields next door to your 2 acre garden area with outside play area.
The Linhay has 2 bedrooms both with black out curtains to ensure you are able to have a good nights sleep, accommodating up to 4 people. The ground floor bedroom can either have a zipped and linked bed which makes a super king, or twin beds, with a shower en-suite. The first floor gallery bedroom has a king size bed with en-suite bathroom.
The fully equipped kitchen/lounge/diner boasts an open vaulted ceiling with wooden beams, comfy sofas and the French doors then lead you onto your patio area with a shared 2 acre garden and outside play equipment.
There is central heating throughout with a log burner.
We are able to offer short breaks of 3 nights minimum during September to June, excluding school holidays.
We are unable to accept pets.

Summary: This is a lovely property for a relaxing break away from the hubbub of nearby towns, with countryside views, in easy driving distance to Wadebridge and Padstow. The field is great for kids to play in, and the Saints Way passes right by, so a long walk to Padstow is very doable, about 4 very pretty miles. The property is on a farm and there are sometimes cows in the next field, and the neighbouring chickens potter about, as well as choughs, crows, and even grouse. At night we could hear owls hooting, and the stars were beautifully clear to see. Alison was a lovely host, and we appreciated the cake when we arrived.

Summary: The house was a wonderful choice as a base for our walks on the cornwall coast. Excellent location for both the north and south excursions. Good transport connection for the car. The house has a great ambience, is equipped with everything you need and was absolutely clean. If we visit Cornwall the next time we would be happy to stay in the Linhay again. Summary: Warm welcome by host and lovely cake on arrival. Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Best part is the spacious grounds in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Added to that the swing and slide which meant our toddler would happily never have left the garden. Would love to revisit.

Summary: We were welcomed with a cake which was lovely. The accommodation was fab, the beds very comfortable. The setting really was glorious. A great place from which to explore the Cornwall coast. The owner made sure we were comfortable and happy without intruding. We had a great holiday.

Summary: We stayed in The Linhay and it was just lovely. Well equipped with everything you need. We were there during a hot spell and could open the doors to the garden to let the breeze in. Sunsets from the patio were gorgeous. Perfect for my elderly mum with a ground floor en-suite bedroom. Very peaceful and quiet but so close to North Cornwall places to visit, and just a few minutes from Tesco. Would thoroughly recommend.
