Summary: My friends and family stayed in Black Barn as a jumping off point to explore the Scottish Highlands and absolutely loved this property. The home is very clean, spacious and a wonderful, peaceful retreat. We can’t wait to go back. The kitchen is stocked with most things you need. We enjoyed having the large counter space and dining area since we did a fair amount of cooking. The living room seating is very comfortable and nice for evening lounging. We loved the digital fireplace, it looks very real and even crackles. The views from the living room, kitchen and primary bedroom are stunning. We are American, so it took us a bit of time to figure out how the appliances work and heating work. The dryer has a small container you must dump often to dry clothes as it pulls the moisture out. There is a small grocery store very nearby that has most basics you will need. We will stay here again.

Summary: Lovely house, really well appointed. Plenty of space and very well furnished. Excellent for grown ups and kids. Everything worked really well. We could have moved in permanently!!
