Just a few minutes’ walking distance from the heart of the village, with its variety of amenities including pubs and restaurants, the single-storey holiday cottage is ideally placed for touring this lovely island. For the outdoor enthusiast, walking, climbing in the Cuillins and mountain biking are just a few of the many activities. Summary: Seabird Cottage is a fantastic cottage with the most wonderful views! Although located in Broadford, so handy for shops and eateries, it is at the end of a long drive so is very private. Summary: Modern, very comfortable and well equipped cottage situated next to friendly owner's home on the outskirts of Broadford. For many the main attraction will be the seashore location with views across the bay and the chance to spot wildlife from the large windows. The aptly named cottage is a paradise for lazy birdwatchers. Seals and the occasional otter can also be seen. Broadford has a range of shops and restaurants. The recently renovated Co-op (open 7am - 10 pm daily) stocks a wide variety of foodstuffs and its petrol station sells the cheapest fuel for miles around. This was my first visit but hopefully not the last. Highly recommended.
