Positive: The location and views were stunning.

Negative: We liked absolutely everything. The only modification I would recommend would be to have a door at the top of the entrance stairs for extra security and to help keep the heat in.

Positive: A very beautiful location with excellent views from the big wide windows and balconies onto the lake. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. A good location to access lots of local sights and a beautiful home to settle into for a few days.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.

Positive: It all seemed to good to be true from the pictures and for the price but let me tell you it was not! It just got better upon arrival, the pictures can not do it justice, its so beautiful. The facilities are exceptional, the kitchen stocked with every piece of equipment you might need and a hamper that I would pay £100's for. Every room has a unique stunning view. I was worried about getting to the location and the volume of noise from the ferry - well i can only say the ferrys were a highlight for the whole family, staff are wonderful. Most wonderful escape xxxx thank you.

Positive: Beautiful welcome basket with goodies for us. Interior decoration was beautiful. We had a maintenance issue that was fixed very quickly when it was reported. Some useful consumables left for our use (dishwasher and laundry tablets, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, etc)

Negative: This place has the potential to be absolutely idyllic but there are several issues that we felt let it down. For example: - the kettle was full of gross looking black spots that we couldn’t identify so we had to use the hob to boil water instead - one of the dining table chairs was broken - the mechanism that connects the bin to the cabinet door was broken - loose floor tile in the kitchen - all 3 en-suite bathrooms had dirty/mouldy grout, and peeling sealant with visible mould underneath - peeling paint in all bathrooms from water damage near the showers/baths - the large flusher button in the downstairs en-suite was stuck in the down position - there was a dirty tank top from a previous guest left in the wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom - signage & barrier for the second parking space was missing (looked like perhaps a tree had fallen on the barrier at some point and not repaired) so we had to call on arrival to confirm we could park there - a nightlight was provided but it did not work - the plastic bracket that is meant to secure the curtain string was no longer secured to the wall - which is also a safety issue - prior to booking, communication from the company was non-existent (we had questions about the property we hoped would be answered before we booked but did not get any response at all) - after booking, communication was better but still rather slow, with one of my questions about kitchen inventory still going unanswered - I sent the question with over a week to go before the start of the booking I would stay at Lund again if I knew for definite that the issues I found had been addressed. The place has so much potential but the above made an otherwise luxurious property feel shabby and dirty. Travelled with 2 couples and 2 children.
