Positive: Lunatree is an amazing place to stay; it is an old building which has lots of character and is full of interesting furniture and pieces of artwork. This gives it a very individual style. The owner is very friendly and ready to advise on places to visit and eat. A varied breakfast, including bread from local artisan bakeries, is served in the kitchen which provides a good opportunity to chat with other guests. I loved my private bathroom. The location is very convenient for the centre of Mechelen and it’s a short bus ride from the railway station.

Positive: Great Location - very central and quiet, by a canal. Breakfast was fabulous, plentiful and varied! The room, and house were decorated with care and style, with many retro/classic furniture and accessories. Serge, the host, is charming and helpful, and a mine of historical information relating to Mechelen. It was a joy to stay here!
