Positive: It was just steps above the Lukla airport-we made a last minute booking because our flights were cancelled due to weather- when they started running again, we could watch them from our hotel window. The rooms were clean, the staff attentive, there was hot water (a treat after trekking) and heated pads for the beds

Negative: We did get some diesel exhaust smell in our room but it was worth it to watch the “worlds most dangerous airport” through the window

Positive: We stayed in this lodge one night before our flight back to Kathmandu/Ramechhap. The owner was very helpful; he confirmed our return flight for us after just having sent him a short message. Also we only briefly mentioned during checkin that it was my boyfriend's birthday the next day; during breakfast he surprised us with a birthday cake with even his name written on it! Very delicious food and beautiful dining hall. During diner, the staff switched on the heating matresses in our room so when we went to sleep, it was very cozy and warm in our beds! Definitely would recommend this lodge. Thanks again for the warm welcome and this great end to our vacation!
