Positive: This is by far the best Accommodation along EBC Trek. The view, the ambience of the hotel etc is top notch along with the food. I can't think of better facility on EBC Trek. We were upgraded upon arrival. The Room, bathroom, view etc. was outstanding.

Negative: Nothing I can think of.

Summary: This is by far the best Himalyan Accommodation along EBC Trek in Tengboche.

Positive: The best option of staying in Tyangboche if you want a little extra luxury on the trail. Amazing showers, very comfortable room and bed. Heated flooring and bedding. Lovely attentive guy/staff in the restaurant from Pokhara (didn’t get his name). The views (eventually!) of Everest and Ama Dablam were incredible. Also by the beautiful Tyangboche monastery

Negative: It was very quiet and so no atmosphere unlike daily run tea houses. The main dining areas were very cold, particularly as you had gotten used to the lovely warm heated bedrooms! They had gas heaters but they were only put on when you arrived and it never really got warm over dinner. Eating dinner in a down jacket isn’t great. Heating is a commodity at altitude but they should warm communal areas in general.

Summary: Quite expensive for the trail but worth it for the extra luxury like hot showers and warm rooms!

Positive: Rooms are spacious and heated with radiant hot water heat - a rarity on the Everest Base Camp trekking route. Excellent views of the mountains and valley from the balcony. Close proximity to Tengboche monastery.

Summary: Nice property and great value on the EBC trekking route.

Positive: High standard of accommodation in the mountains. Very good quality bedding and a modern shower with lots of hot water. Facilities for making tea and coffee. Large window with beautiful view. Electric blanket

Negative: It was soooooo cold in that hotel! Even though finished to à very high standard, with a modern (and no doubt expensive) wood-burning stove, there appears to have been no method devised to direct any of this heat to the rooms. Furthermore, the rooms themselves don’t face south and so don’t benefit from the afternoon sunshine which would have provided some heat. Breakfast was only so-so Expensive, 14% added to price quoted on Booking.com. Came to about 150$ - an astronomical sum for Nepal. Bad value for money
