Positive: Beautiful scenery and quiet. The lake is in view and very lovely.

Negative: Unfortunately the mobile phone service is poor. The property provides free Internet connection. Alas the directions to the property using the mobile phone was problematic, and calling for assistance was problematic too. This is no criticism of the property, though which was top notch.

Positive: In arrival Filomena met us at the property and showed us around which was lovely. Cottage was very clean and well organised,everything you need to feel at home. Beautifully decorated. We had a lovely stay at Lough Island Reavy Cottage and would recommend to everyone. Will definitely go back!

Positive: Stunning location near the Mourne mountains with stunning views of the reservoir. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and has everything needed to make your stay comfortable. Sitting by the wood-burning stove was divine and the kitchen had everything we might need to cook our meals in the cottage. The bedroom was snug and comfortable; the bathroom was clean and the shower had great water pressure. One of the nicest country breaks we've gone on in Ireland!

Positive: third time visiting, cottage is cosy, easy to heat, excellent Wi-Fi and great views. hostess is great, early check in was facilitated. will be back again!

Negative: some items of furniture in need of replacing due to wear and tear, but the hosts are aware of this and a change has been talked about.
