Positive: We had a brilliant stay at Bramble cottage. It was spotless and had everything we needed and more. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch as well as the welcome basket which we really appreciated. The hot tub was a fantastic extra and the views from the cottage were stunning. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone The hosts, James and Abigail were more than accommodating.

Positive: Bramble cottage is fantastic, peaceful and yet accessible, with a supermarket a mere ten minute drive away. Property was clean, a lovely welcome basket was left by the hosts, woodfire hot tub outside and wood supplied for log burner in living room. Love the board games aswell all adds to the cosy atmosphere. All round brilliant facilities.

Negative: Absolutely nothing it was great.

Summary: Our favourite place to stay in the country.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Located in the beautiful countryside just what we needed. The cottage was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We were also greeted with a very generous treat basket. Hot tub went down a treat with the kids, will definitely recommend to our family and friends and hopefully be back ourselves.

Positive: As always everything. Bramble cottage has become a go to location for us, usually to celebrate birthdays. Our kids absolutely love the space to go out & play outdoors without any worries. Our favourite thing to do is get everyone all cosy in the living room & light the wood burning stove (we don't have one at home so truly appreciate it at bramble cottage) The cottage is spacious, bright & comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook as if you're at home. James & Abigail always leave a little welcome basket which is always something the kids look forward to upon arrival. They even go the extra mile & make sure tea, coffee, sugar, milk & butter are available for our arrival. We love this place & will probably continue to return for birthdays each year. Our kids have actually chosen this as their summer location rather than a holiday abroad!

We absolutely loved every moment and truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches you provided. The welcome hamper was such a lovely surprise and really set the tone for a relaxing break. The chopped wood was ready for the stove and the hot tub, and your beautiful welcome letter made us feel right at home straight away. It’s clear how much care you put into making guests feel welcome, and it really showed. Although we didn’t use the bicycles or visit the local pubs (we cooked indoors most evenings), we really appreciated the local recommendations you left for us. It's clear that you know the area well and want guests to enjoy the best of it. We were especially impressed with the Milestone NISA supermarket in Rathfriland—what a fantastic community shop! It had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a real treat—immaculately clean and perfect for winding down at the end of each day. And being surrounded by fields of sheep and lambs was such a peaceful and charming setting. As we brought our dog along, we were extra careful to keep him on a tight lead around the sheep. Collecting the keys was seamless, and overall, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect quiet getaway, and the warm sunshine made it extra special. Thanks again for your thoughtful hospitality. We’ll definitely be recommending Bramble Cottage to friends and hope to return ourselves in the future!
