Positive: Lovely peaceful spot among the rice fields, frequented by birds but close to Temple and restaurants. Staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. Couple of sunrise outings arranged. Breakfasts were good.

Negative: There was a little building work going on but when that’s finished it will be perfect.

Summary: Very pleasant week.

Positive: I love the location and everyone that was there. The staff felt like my family. They helped me in so many ways and made me feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. The air con worked great, the drying rack in the room was helpful since rainy season, the breakfast and tea was yummy, and the quiet garden area was a treat. The location was also walking distance to many temples. I felt safe walking everywhere as a solo woman. Total bonus.

Negative: I could only charge my phone in the bathroom because the outlet near the bed would not hold. I’d prefer the bedding and towels to be washed without perfumed soaps.

Summary: Lotus 2 is a gem and I will happily go back.

Positive: The room is clean and spacious and the bed is comfortable! The view from the room is greeny and the Nasi Goreng in the breakfast is super delicious!The owner and the staff are nice and helpful! It's the ideal place when visiting Borobudur 😊

Positive: The location is good, and close to the Buddhist temple, but it is on the main road, which makes it quite noisy. The communication prior to my stay with manager Nuri was good and he arranged for a car to pick me up at the airport. The driver was on time and friendly and helpful. Nuri also arranged a lovely morning for me, visiting the nearby villages and three home industries. It was a great experience and I thank Nuri for driving me around on a motor bike. The breakfasts were basic, but tasty. The other staff friendly and helpful.

Negative: The property is run-down and should be renovated urgently. Although sheets and towels were clean, the towels were frayed and torn in places. The bathroom needs to be upgraded urgently. The outside staircase to my room does not have a handrail, which I found unsafe. The curtain in the room needs to be replaced, as it is too small and also torn in places.

Summary: Despite the fact that the property needs to be renovated, I still had a pleasant stay.

Positive: The location is very good, walking distance to the temple and near all the restaurants. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a very cool view of the fields in front of us. Recommended!

Negative: The sink had some draining problems and it’s a bit close to a mosque that woke us up every night around 4/4.30am, but it was not a major problem for us.
