Positive: - Ika and Iani are lovely smily extremely helpful hosts. They know a lot about Borobudur and about the surroundings. It is a pleasure to hear the explanations. - Located on a side street, the house has a small garden and you can sit outside your room and relax. - The bed is very comfortable and the AC quiet - You are in walking distance (about 10 min) to the bus station. And it takes about 5 min to walk to the sunrise entrance for the visit of Borobudur.

Negative: Everything was good. Amazing value for your money.

Positive: Thr owner have had excellent service and whole heartly. The tourist should feel homy and well informed about the environment. The homestay is really homy with lush , greenery and kampong atmosphere. Just walk a few minutes to Candi Borobudur. A plenty good food are around walking distance.

Summary: Strongly recomended especially for foreign tourists.

Positive: Probably our best homestay so far in Java. Ika and his wife have a beautiful house and garden with big clean bedrooms. The wifi is excellent, the location is 2 min walk from the main street with many resto. The breakfast is delicious. I chose the local breakfast and it was different and delicious every day. But most of all, it is the hosts’ hospitality that was heart warming. Ika drove us to the temple. They brought us thermos of hot water every day once they knew we liked tea in the evening. We will fondly remember this place.

Positive: Lovely homestay, Ika and Yani are great hosts. Ika was kind enough to drop me off at the Borobudur entrance, as well as the bus stop. The place was immaculate, and the breakfast delicious (including a memorable soto ayam). protip: if coming from yogyakarta, for 20K IDR the sinar jaya shuttle picks up from malioboro and drops off 10min walk away from the homestay . thank you Ika & Yani!!

Positive: Ide and Yanni are excellent hosts, they are friendly, helpful and gave us lots of useful information. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sitting outside our room overlooking the beautiful garden. Ide kindly took us in his car to the new entrance gate of the Buddhist temple.

Positive: Very clean! Very lovely owners that were not too pushy regarding tours or information and respected our privacy. At the same time they were always happy to chat or provide more information if wanted. No mold in the bathroom, hot shower, little seating area in front of the room and no stains on towels or sheets (which is unfortunately very common in Indonesia). Breakfast was also good with a variety each day. Location close to lots of restaurants and in a quiet street so there is no traffic noise.

Negative: The AC was not powerful enough and the wifi did not or only barely reach our room which was a bit unfortunate. Worked just fine on the terrace.
