2 Bedroom House in Lookout Mountain

Situated on the edge of Lookout Mountain, our home has stunning views over the northwest corner of Georgia, into Alabama and Tennessee. The 2000 square foot home features two bedroom suites on separate floors for privacy. On the main level is the large master bedroom with a private full bathroom and double French doors that open onto the deck and hot tub, another full bathroom, a well appointed living room with a large TV, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. You can have dinner on the screened porch and then relax in the 2-4 person hot tub on the covered, open air porch. The downstairs bedroom suite has a queen size bed and a new queen size sleeper sofa and a large TV in the sitting are and a half bath. We have super fast wifi.
While here, you'll be close to area attractions and all that this mecca for outdoor enthusiasts has to offer. This house is on the race route of many local and national bicycle road races, and only a few miles from epic mountain bike trails, rock climbing, caving, hang gliding at Lookout Mountain Flight Park, and hiking at Georgia's Cloudland Canyon State Park.
Historic civil war sites are abundant in the area, and white water rafting on the Ocoee River is a scenic one hour drive.
For guests wanting to include a city experience during their stay, the house is just a 20-minute drive to downtown Chattanooga with its many attractions, restaurants, shopping and more.
A note about hot tubs. We have three homes for short term rental. Each has it's own hot tub. We maintain them at least every other day and always between guests. This maintenance includes cleaning filters and adjusting chemical balance and chlorine levels. They are drained and refilled often. Sometimes they may not be hot yet when you get there. (A real problem of you're only there for one night) We will always choose "cold but clean" over "hot and green" for our hot tubs. Occasionally, something might go wrong with them that requires parts to be ordered. While we always want our hot tubs clean, fresh and operating properly, we do not give refunds if they are not hot when you arrive or if something has happened that requires repair parts and you can't get the bubbles to blow just like you want them.

Summary: This has great unobstructed views form lookout mountain . And a great collection of movies, music and books, prefect combination for relaxing and just enjoying time with family. When going out all Chattanooga attractions are still less than 30 mins to get to. House was well stocked with all essential supplies, pots and pans . We enjoyed our stay .

Summary: The location of this property is great with a gorgeous view over the valley and privacy on the deck with a hot tub. It is, however, close to a busy highway so be aware of that when having to unload your car through the front door.The place was nicely set up and comfortable for us. The kitchen utensils and dishes could use replacement since everything is a little hodgepodge and some dishes had chips out of them. Also, maybe replace the cushions in the screen porch.We didn't get the door code prior to arriving but fortunately, the cleaners had left the door unlocked so we could get in. It always took a few hours to hear back from the owner when we had questions.Note - this place is on top of Lookout Mountain so keep in mind you have to drive up and down the mountain to see anything in Chattanooga. A roller coaster drive for sure!!

Summary: If I could rate this stay it would be 10 out of 5stars. I could not love this spot more. From the views, the cute hot tub, the grill, the amazing mattress in my room, literally everything about this place was perfect! The toilet downstairs was a little weird in orientation but other than that-I have zero complaints. it’s also just a short drive to downtown Chatt and all the beautiful scenic and cavern trails around. I’ll definitely stay again and again
