Summary: Me and my partner had the most wonderful time staying in this cabin. The location is perfect. It’s beautifully tucked away from the other houses right into the trees. We spent most mornings bird watching off of the back deck. The river was a higher tide during our stay, which made the lovely river sounds all the louder and more comforting. The cabin its self is very pretty! The high ceilings in the main area, and many windows, make the space feel very open and light. Everything is well labeled and easy to find. The bed and bedding is super soft. The couch is very comfortable. The trail attached to the back yard is definitely for adventurers with some careful footing. Berkley springs is a very cute area. The main down town has very quaint shops run by what seem to be really kind people. The winding West Virginia roads with the views of the mountains kept me entertained every car ride. Can’t say enough good things.

Summary: My wife and I wanted a serene escape surrounded by nothing but nature, and Kate's cabin was perfect for us. We didn't see any other people while we were there and couldn't hear anything but the creek, the crackling of the fireplace, the wind rustling the leaves, and the birds chirping. We'd love to be back next time we need to reconnect with nature in peace!

Summary: We had a great time relaxing on the porch, grilling food, and listening to the birds.The drive in to Berkeley Springs was beautiful. We had a lot fun walking around antique shops and trying the beers at Cacapon Mountain Brewing.

Summary: If you like getting away from it all and still have all the comforts of home, this is your place. Reasonably priced, wonderful decor and a location to die for.Berkeley Springs is only 9 miles away and if you like twisty roads, you'll love the drive. I did! Movies, books, games and plenty of wood for the firepit and if needed, the wood stove. Very well supplied with the essentials. Just don't forget the insect repellent. They aren't horrible, but you are in the woods.We saw loads of hawks and deer, some ducks and geese...all from the rear deck. You won't regret staying here!
