There are little corners throughout the loft where you can quietly read a book or just be. Positive: This is a fantastic location with a beautiful apartment. If you're keen to just be in Hallstatt for relaxation this is the place for you. Josef is super accommodating. We could not have chosen a better place to be for our time here. We'd walk our way into the village bakery early morning to avoid the crowd, buy our lunch for the day. And make our way back to the apartment for a day of reading, listening to music and just enjoying the views on offer. Then when the crowds left we'd walk back into the village for dinner. If you find this apartment free for the dates you want, don't overthink it, just book it. It is incredible for so many reasons.

Negative: Small personal thing, i would have liked a standard pillow on the bed.

Positive: Location was fantastic and having a garden directly onto the lake was amazing. We were able to enjoy wonderful views far from the madding crowd in the privacy of the property and garden. We enjoyed swimming daily; access into the water from the garden was easy. Parking space was an additional bonus too.

Positive: Beautiful picturesque location. Just step into the backyard and you have breathtaking views!! Spacious place to stay with the family with fully equipped kitchen. Everything within short walking distance, Host was absolutely wonderful and went extra mile to help with our car trouble. He recommended some excellent places to eat.
