Positive: Ingrid was extremely welcoming, and provided great detail well in advance so we knew how to contact her and get the apartment keys easily. She was very flexible with our arrival time, and provided us with ideas for some great hikes and other activities in the area! The apartment is very well appointed, with beautiful views of the lake and only a minute walk from the town square.

Negative: Nothing that Ingrid could have impacted, but the weather in March was quite gloomy! This is also an offseason for Hallstatt, which was great because tourists are more limited, however it also means most of the stores and restaurants had limited hours.

Positive: The apartment was located close to the lake front in the main part of the old town. It was easily accessible with a 5 minute walk from the ferry or from the bus terminal. Hostess Ingrid was there to greet us and explain the apartment, the town and the local attractions. The kitchen equipment was excellent especially comprehensive cooking utensils. Thoughtful - quality pots & pans, good knives and even a sharpening steel. Coffee and a few basics included. comfortable bed a large living space with good sofa. Very quiet at night. A great deal of care and thought has gone into providing this rental.

Negative: The town lacks a good supermarket.

Negative: We loved everything about the property and the owner went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible even when dealing with historic flooding in Central Europe. She was very communicative, considerate and helpful!

Positive: Ingrid looked after us like we were family. Apartment on the waterfront, with car spot out front (this is in the tourist zone, so you need a boom gate ticket to enter - via the bus gate during the day, and with the assistance of Ingrid on arrival) Nice kitchen, fridge, bathroom. No laundry, but ask Ingrid for assistance. 5 mins from both supermarkets, Salt mine, and churches. Extremely central. Windows on 3 sides, stunning views over the lake Quite a few steps up to apartment (equivalent of 2 stories). Lots of space to sit. Great stay (3 nights)

Negative: Parking was intimidating on arrival (as entry to tourist zone barricaded) but Ingrid had alerted the bus zone attendant - enter via the large bus boom gate lakeside off the main road just after (from the tunnel) the car gates.

Summary: Stunning lakeside stay.

Positive: We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment with an amazing view. Ingrid was absolutely lovely and made sure that everything was ready for us when we got there. She also stayed in contact with us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We were very happy with the private parking spot, which saved us a lot of trouble from having to park somewhere else. The views from the apartement and the balcony are gorgeous and the kitchen is equipped with everything you would need during your stay.

Positive: Simply great! An exceptional location of wonderful apartment, where you feel more like at home, rather than at hotel. Frau Ingrid, a good spirit of this place, makes everything absolutely perfect

Negative: An air-conditioning is missing which, especially in summer season, makes place a bit warm... But this is definitely not fail of accommodation lessor, I understand there are limits for an installation of it on heritage building...

Positive: Ingrid went above and beyond to make us welcome. Her communication before our arrival was thorough and friendly. The facilities in the apartment were excellent with attention to the smallest detail. Kitchen was well stocked very clean and obviously cared for. Wonderful view over the lake. A very short walk into the village. Ingrid provided her own car parking space in front of the apartment and this is a big plus in Hallstatt where very few cars can enter.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: This super cosy, beautiful studio apartment is just in the city center of a small town: Hallstatt. It is at the lake, so from your apartment´s windows you can admire the lake and the mountains every day and feel grateful for that beautiful scenery. Also you can use the balcony to enjoy the sun rise in the mornings, having your hot coffee. Just to go to the balcony, you have to step out of apartment and step in to another small building, which I guess is meant for storage. But this was totally ok for me and my daughter. I was very happy, that in the kitchen there was equipped with absolutely everything you could imagine to cook wonderful meals. Also there were such equippment, that I did not even know what purpose they were for. I am saying, that this was extraordinary kitchen for masterchefs! And also I have never seen any accommodation which has so many good and useful things to use. Warm bathrobes for 1 people, slippers, hygine products for ladies, board games and cards for the dark evenings. Especially nice to play cards or other games after physically challenging hiking in the mountains, which we did every day, enjoying the beautyful, colorful autumn views at the mountains (Alpes). We loved that there were lots of candles, so you just light them up and enjoy cosy evening with good music, playing card games with your loved ones. The house lady, Ingrid, is super kind and very smart. She made sure, that we would feel like royalties at her place. We could not say enough good words about her.... she is just a wonderful person!!!

Negative: Everthing was super! Beyond any expectations! Could not be better!
