Summary: We visited in summer, there is so much to do in the surrounding towns like Hakuba and Matsumoto, and car is recommended

Positive: Sai san was super attentive and caring for our needs. The room was minimal, but very comfortable. The lodge is located in a really quiet and peaceful area.

Negative: Quite a ways from the nearest ski resorts, though not that big of a problem with a car.
