Positive: Location is superb. The overall overall design is a bit quirky but very satisfying. The house is well equipped with high quality equipment.

Negative: Public: There was nothing to dislike. Private for the owner: To help you make the excellent phenomenal I have a few nit picking comments: The instructions for rubbish are either not clear or are out of date. While we separated the rubbish indoors when it came to disposing of it there only seemed one way for everything (we may have missed something). The WiFi code starts with a capital, not lowercase as on the instructions. The toilet brush in the main bathroom is broken.

Summary: Peace and luxury what more can you ask for?

Positive: Very very beautiful huge place with a great stunning view, it’s an old farm house but they made everything impressively up to standards. We were a group of 8 and we still could not fill up the whole place, there weee still more beds to sleep and more areas to play around.

Negative: A clearer direction and some more signs to the property... especially the sign at the main road for the cottage. Cottage!?!? No it’s not :) too big to be a cottage. More lights outside at night around the house.

Positive: The cottage was very picturesque in a lovely location (amazing spiral driveway down to the cottage though easy to miss the turning. We felt very at home the moment we walked in. Lovely décor and plenty of books/games/activities within. Lovely beds, clean bathrooms, comfortable for a max 10 people.

Negative: Even though a natural spring supposedly clean, the drinking water was VERY salty and the shower water quite brown. (Take lots of bottled drinking water) There was definitely an infestation of harmless woodlice - don't let these put you off, but just something they need to try and prevent, maybe seal up some of the gaps around the doors, clear silicone the wood beams etc. The seating outside is pretty small and not enough dining space for 10 people, but on a nice summers day, people can always sit on the floor or use your own camping chairs as we did.

Summary: Lovely cottage, worthy trip for 10 people after a 'quiet' weekend away. Painswick, very small/quiet.
