Positive: Beautifully crafted hut with enough room for two. It had everything we needed and was a really lovely getaway from our busy city lives. A welcome hamper was thoughtfully left for us and fresh milk and butter were left in the fridge. Logs were left out for us if we had wanted to put the burner on but the hut was so cosy, there was no need. The bed was comfortable too - there was nothing we did not like about this lovely place! The Butchers Arms is fab, a beautifully traditional English pub with delicious food and very hospitable staff. The village itself is idyllic; don’t be put off by the hut’s proximity to the pub - you will not be disturbed at all. Lovely walks through the Cotswolds countryside right on your doorstep with easy, moderate or more challenging routes to choose from. We highly recommend the Shepherds Huts at Sheepscombe - thank you for having us!

Positive: Have just had a wonderful experience at the Sheepscombe shepards hut. The hut itself was cosy and had everything you’d need and we were provided with a lovely welcome basket on arrival. Loved the rural location and pub next door has great food and it was nice to chat to the locals.
