Positive: The property is stunning

Negative: Lack of professionalism. The property manager was away in a personal emergency. Butler was in charge. Things would have been better, if someone was there to supervise. Food is mainly prepared mainly for foreigners and north indian guests. Butler was over respectful towards guests especially foreigners but rude to the other staff. Though they say tip is not appreciated, they expect you to tip. So make your food preferences clear Keep cash Though the property says it welcomes all guests regardless of their gender, race, nationality be ready to face the questions. But the property is great. Only if there was someone in charge to take care. Oversimplified people takes in!

Positive: Superb location, great breakfast, lovely dinner. Very helpful staff. This Bungalow was like a dream come true.

Negative: 1. They should consider fixing mosquito nets on windows. This will allow guests to keep windows open through evening and night. 2. No doubt the food was excellent. However, we were given the impression that the property serves authentic Malayalam food. That was missing. Though they served it on our request.

Summary: Great experience which I would like to repeat.

Positive: Gorgeous setting, beautiful bungalow, classic, luxurious, and comfortable. The hospitality was first rate and included many small touches such as a warm washcloth on arrival. The food was easily the best I’ve had in India thus far, and there is an option to dine alone or with fellow guests. Afternoon tea was delightful, and breakfast was served outdoors in the garden. Just fabulous.
