Positive: I love the old style kind of hotel, like a mystery novel! It has a beautiful library with a fireplace. Also is near to Nessi attractions. The Manager was awesome and very friendly.

Positive: Overall we had a lovely stay, the hotel was quiet, clean and the staff were friendly. It's pretty quirky and unique. The food in the evening was very nice, the room was large and comfortable. it was fun and a great stopping point near loch Ness at a reasonable price.
Negative: It's a little tired in places and the decor won't be to everyone's tastes and it's not filled with mod cons but it worked well for our needs

Positive: The hotel receptionist was so kind to my son. They must have had a good 10/15 minute chat when we arrived about all things Scotland and Loch Ness. We came back downstairs and they chatted again, this time my son mentioned it had just recently been his birthday. We went out on a Nessie cruise and when we returned my son was greeted to an array of toys and accessories from the gift shop next door along with a mystery note… from Nessie herself and her helper! We’d like to thank Nessie and her helper for adding a unforgettable moment to our wonderful trip.

Positive: It was a lovely quirky hotel with so much character! We had dinner and breakfast there and the food was amazing! Staff were lovely & friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, special mention to Leanne who went that extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Negative: We only stayed 1 night I wished we could have stayed longer!
Summary: This hotel is a real gem of a find, great location, food delicious and room comfortable, staff so friendly & helpful

Positive: The hotel is old with a lot of charm and character. The location is good, near a small village and close to Loch Ness. I enjoyed dinner in the restaurant.
Negative: My room was in an annex, probably built in the 60's. The annex is not nearly as charming as the main part of the hotel.
