Royal 1 is self-catering annex adjoined to the owner's main house, located just minutes from Ramsey town centre by foot.
The town of Ramsey with its independent shops and cafes is just three miles away, from here jump aboard the Manx Electric Railway, stopping off at many picturesque parts of the island.
One of the Island’s largest towns, Ramsey has plenty to do and see, for all ages! A beautiful sandy beach stretching for what seems like forever and fabulous walks for your dog to enjoy are not too far away. Mooragh Park is also just 5 minutes away, featuring excellent leisure facilities for all ages. Visitors can find tennis courts, a bowling green, BMX track and a crazy golf course' as well as a children’s playground and special water play area. Watersport activities are available on the lake in the summer too! To top it off, Mooragh Park is a registered Dark Skies Site, from which you may even be able to see the northern lights on the horizon when the conditions are just right!
The Grove Museum provides an insight into the life of a Victorian family who built the house in the 20th Century. There are other Victorian attractions in Ramsey, such as the Queen's Pier and the Manx Electric Railway which runs from Ramsey to Douglas via Laxey. From Laxey, you can board the Mountain Railway which snakes up through the hills to Snaefell, the highest peak on the Isle of Man!

Summary: We really enjoyed staying at Royal 1, such a beautiful holiday let, fantastic location walking distance to beach. Extremely clean and well decorated. Would highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again

Summary: Lovely accommodation and 10 days of warm, sunny weather! Really pleased we took our car as we were able to do so much more and everything is only a short drive away. We loved the park in Ramsey and the swimming pool with its exceptional cafe is not to be missed. The five days heritage pass allowed us to visit a number of heritage sites.

Summary: The property is an extension to the owner's house and is modern, clean and comfortable. Amy made us very welcome and gave us some useful tips on local amenities and places of interest. Location a minor issue as there was a construction site opposite but it didn't really disturb us as we were out most of the days. As the work opposite is completed this aspect will improve and the property will be more secluded. A very pleasant stay and thank you to Amy for her kindness and help in enjoying a wonderful island.

Summary: Superb location, only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and walking distance to Ramsey town centre. Accomodation was very comfortable, clean and felt like a home away from home.

Summary: Owner pleasant & welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Well equipped kitchen. Extremely clean property. New and fresh feel, lots of natural light, very well kept. Car parking outside the property. Separate entrance, access to a garden. In a great location, for exploring the island. Overall fantastic experience. Very happy to come back again.
